The Director of Brand Strategy is an integral part of our Sales Team, providing front line world-class service to our clients and strategic direction to our internal teams. The Director of Brand Strategy will spend significant time working with our clients, gaining deep insight into their business and objectives and becoming a strategic partner to translate their asks into actionable strategies to be executed within Woven properties.

The person will:

  • Lead a team of a 2-4 Brand Strategists in the NYC office
  • Work with various departments (studio, editorial, sales, product) to create compelling proposals, presentations, marketing concepts and/or positioning, and execute accordingly.
  • Support Brand Partners to develop category level ideas and tentpoles.
  • Accompany Brand Partners on sales calls to present marketing platforms and client-specific opportunities.
  • Manage the daily workflow process including the prioritization of presentations, program activation and event execution.
  • Generates creative pitches for sponsorships and new products.
  • Work with Studio/Editorial/Activation to ensure successful execution of sponsorships and oversee the day-to-day development and delivery of creative strategies and materials for clients.
  • Attends select shoots on set and on location when needed.
  • Maintain appropriate and responsive working relationships with clients, vendors and agency partners.


  • 6+ years working in Digital/Strategic planning/creative services specifically within the video content space.
  • 2 years minimum management experience.
  • Strong analytical, business acumen and creative skills business with industry presence who has a knack for ideas and business building.
  • Exceptional proposal writing and presentation skills with a history of building successful multi-platform, integrated programs.
  • A passion for digital media and ad tech and a knowledge how to leverage them to achieve marketing goals.
  • Proven ability to build relationships (internally and with Clients).
  • Dynamic story teller/presenter, with a history of pitching and winning business from new and existing clients.
  • Must be proactive, results oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable and able to thrive in a start up environment that values entrepreneurialism and results.
